Representing TROY at BankTech Asia is Chandrakant Singh, Head of Asia Pacific Sales. Mr. Singh will be located at Booth 6 with our partner, CoreTechnae. Together, we’ll be showcasing our self-service kiosk for starter cheques, as well as full chequebook dispensing, as a customer-centric way to issue instant cheques to customers.

Security & Benefits of Cheque Printing Kiosks 

Besides immediate delivery of cheques, which enhance customer satisfaction, TROY cheque printing kiosks have the capability to deliver a single cheque or a booklet. All cheques are personalized and printed on blank cheque stock, which means banks can eliminate preprinted cheque paper and move to a blank cheque stock which is typically more cost-effective.

Recognizing cheque fraud as a global concern, with insider cheque tampering alone costing an average of $158,000¹, the TROY solution is secure from the kiosk unit to the printed cheque. Housed inside the kiosk is a TROY MICR Printer with security features such as built-in encryption and decryption, exact positioning technology and anti-tampering watermark. The printer includes a TROY MICR UV Toner which contains overt and covert UV toner to prevent cheque tampering.

The enhanced security on the printed cheques is only the beginning. The kiosk system is capable of remote monitoring, recording audit logs, digital video surveillance, and much more. As well, cheques not collected are immediately retracted into the machine and shredded.
